Chief Kola Akomolede is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers(NIESV) and a member of the International Real Estate Federation(FIABCI).He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). He is currently the Vice President, African Chapter of FIABCI.

He has written so many articles and delivered several papers at local and International conferences, lectures and symposia. He is the author of the book ESTATE AGENCY PRACTICE IN NIGERIA and a recipient of many awards.

He worked at Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC) as a Chief Estate Surveyor and Head of the Estate Department. He later rose to become the Deputy General Manager (Estates) before retiring in 1999 to establish his own practice under the brand name Kola Akomolede & Co.
